Effective 29 August 2026. This policy explains how Carmark, a product of Asterick, handles information when you use Carmark.
Information we handle
When you use a Carmark price-check tool, we process the vehicle details and asking price you enter—such as make, model, year, city, mileage, variant, engine, fuel, transmission and assembly—to return a market estimate. Carmark does not require an account or ask for your name, phone number or payment details to provide an estimate.
If you contact us by email, we receive the information in your message and your email address so that we can respond, investigate a correction, or handle your request.
Our hosting and security systems may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request time and the page requested.
How we use information
We use information to provide price research, operate and secure Carmark, respond to messages, diagnose problems, and improve the service. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
As of the effective date, Carmark does not use Google Analytics, Google AdSense, or other advertising or analytics tracking integrations.
We may introduce Google Analytics to understand aggregate site use and Google AdSense to show advertising. If enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to measure usage, limit fraud, personalize or measure ads where permitted, and report performance. Those services process information under Google's privacy policies and controls.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we will provide a consent choice before using non-essential cookies or personalized advertising. You can also manage Google ad personalization through Google's ad settings.
Sharing, retention and security
We use service providers that help host, operate, secure and support Carmark. They may process information only as needed to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect users, Carmark, or the public.
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including resolving requests, maintaining security, and meeting legal obligations.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your questions and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, or object to certain uses of your personal information. To make a request or ask a privacy question, email hello@astericklabs.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
We may update this policy as Carmark changes. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date.
